Applying to PPA

Unlike many other private preschools, Park Prep Academy does not require formal student interviews or cognitive evaluations for prospective students.  Park Prep Academy does, however, require all student applicants and their families to attend at least one open house prior to granting admission.

In order to begin the process of applying to Park Prep, please download, print, and complete the application.  Mail the completed application along with a check for the non-refundable application processing fee of $50 to Park Prep Academy at:

Park Prep Academy – Admissions

519 Central Avenue

Jersey City, NJ 07307

Park Prep Academy does have a rolling admission which means that there is no deadline for submission of applications.  Admission offers for the upcoming September are made in March of the previous school year.  Applications should be submitted by February to be considered for the available openings.

The admission process at Park Prep Academy is designed to identify and include students from a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds.  Students are admitted into the academy based upon a multitude of factors; including but not limited to:  age, gender, learning style, temperament, and application date.

You will receive a phone call from the Director, Justine Wanat, within two weeks of your child’s application being received.  During this phone call, Justine Wanat will inform you of your child’s admission standing.

Please be advised, space is limited at Park Prep Academy.  Do not let this discourage you from applying as there is a very active waiting list and students tend to move through it quickly.
