Jocelyn received a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. She attended graduate school at The Rutgers Graduate School of Education in New Brunswick, N.J. and received her Master of Science Degrees in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. These degrees prepared Jocelyn to work with children preschool age through grade eight. Jocelyn has completed teaching fieldwork throughout various classrooms throughout New Jersey including pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, first grade, third grade and seventh grade. Aside from her teaching experiences, Jocelyn is also an accomplished volleyball player and was named Captain of the Rutgers University Women’s Volleyball team.
Jocelyn’s caring nature and extraordinary ability to connect with students of all ages and comfort levels inspires and promotes the growth and development of each child she encounters. Also, Jocelyn’s extensive background in athletics has prepared her nicely to lead Park Prep Academy’s Gross Motor Development program.
