Justine received her Dual-Master’s Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education at The Bank Street College of Education in Manhattan, New York, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of Connecticut. At Bank Street, Justine received Master of Science Degrees in both Early Childhood and Elementary Childhood General Education. These intricate degrees prepared Justine to work with children infants to sixth grade. While taking detailed courses, Justine completed her supervised fieldwork in the four year old classroom at The Fieldston School in Riverdale, New York. Following her time at Fieldston, Justine was with the five/six year olds at Bank Street School for Children then finally in a fifth grade classroom at George Washington Elementary School in White Plains New York. Previously, Justine taught at St. Dominic’s School for Children with Emotional Disability in Blauvelt, New York. She is also the sister of Assistant Director/Head Teacher, Jocelyn Carley, and daughter of PPA Assistant Teacher, Elizabeth Greenwald and the late Dr. Michael Greenwald, former PPA physician.
The enthuastic energy with which Justine leads a classroom along with her vast experiences as a part of such reknowned school communities has been the driving force behind Park Prep Academy becoming one of the premier private preschools in Hudson County.
