Social Studies is at the core of the curriculum at Park Prep Academy. Like a quilt, all other subject areas are woven together through the social studies unit. Concepts including: community, change, meaning, and continuity, are all areas of focus throughout the students’ daily life. Park Prep Academy’s curriculum also focuses on concepts such as diversity, similarities and differences, communication as well as building an appreciation for various cultures.

Using these key concepts, the faculty at Park Prep Academy creates an accessible curriculum for their preschool-aged students that is both engaging and continually evolving. Through this study, the Park Prep Academy faculty strives to foster a positive school community within the larger, thriving one its students and their families are a part of.
